The Bike Shop Building Blocks Set | General Jim's Toys & Bricks | GJ-OTBS

I have completed four of General Jim’s city building sets since last year and have enjoyed putting together all of them!! These were the Bike Shop, Shoe Store, and Ice Cream Parlor (which was added to my cityscape display) and the Christmas House (included in my Christmas Village display). Recently, I ordered the Lunatic Mad House Hospital (great Halloween decoration) and the Motorized Christmas Train from General Jim and very much looking forward to receiving them. The sets from General Jim have been easy to put together with easy to follow visual directions (and NO struggling with bricks that are difficult to attach to each other). The details continue inside on each floor of the buildings I’ve completed also. Occasionally, a few pieces have been missing but customer service is amazing (missing bricks are sent immediately). I highly recommend General Jim building sets or vehicle sets. They are such fun!!!

We are in the process of building a building brick train layout with buildings. My husband built this one. We were a little worried at first that the bricks weren't separated by numbered bag but they were. There were a few detailed parts for the last step that came in an earlier bag, but it was just a few. The detail on this kit is fantastic. Just the multi-colored brick façade is impressive. A working elevator in the middle is definitely fun. The detail of the bikes and the apartment above is amazing. Little clever things like a collapsible staircase to the attic level make this fun and clever. Everything fit together nicely and the instructions were well done.
